Our French courses are designed for a wide range of learners. We support expatriates and their families settling in France, international professionals working in Toulouse or foreign athletes and their spouses looking to improve their French, multicultural couples living in the region, as well as anyone who wants to gain confidence using French in daily life or for professional purposes. Objectives
The objectives of our programs are clear and comprehensive. Learners will develop practical and professional French communication skills, gain confidence in both daily and workplace interactions, and understand French cultural codes and business etiquette. Our courses also help participants identify transferable skills and prepare a purposeful career project in France, enabling them to build a professional presentation in French for interviews, CVs, and workplace communication. Beyond language instruction, we integrate cultural coaching and practical guidance on how France works – including administration, unwritten rules, and social norms – to ensure learners are fully prepared for professional and personal integration.

Our human and tailored approach is central to our methodology. All instructors are certified, experienced, and passionate about teaching, adapting each lesson to the learner’s objectives, learning style, and pace.
We use a multicultural perspective to make learners feel at home, incorporating real-life vocabulary and role-plays that simulate everyday situations, professional contexts, and intercultural scenarios.
Learning is made practical and engaging through interactive exercises, immediate feedback on speaking, simple explanations of grammar and vocabulary, and support materials on a Gdrive between sessions.
We believe in positive learning: you make progress when you feel understood, supported, and encouraged.
Modalities
We offer flexible formats to meet the needs of our diverse learners:
Individual lessons: Tailor-made sessions focusing on oral fluency, grammar, vocabulary, work-related language, or administrative French, depending on your personal goals.
Small group classes: Interactive and dynamic sessions with 3–6 participants, allowing cultural and linguistic exchange while practicing French in a supportive environment. Levels range from A1 to B2.
In-company courses: French lessons adapted to the professional context, ideal for companies welcoming foreign employees.
In-person or online: In-person sessions are held in a modern, comfortable space near Airbus and the Colomiers train station. Online sessions are accessible worldwide via Teams, Gmeet or Zooms, making it easy for expatriates, digital nomads, or remote workers to participate. Online sessions are interactive, flexible, and allow learners to progress at their own pace worldwide.
Training fees
At HAPPY IN FRANCE, we primarily offer individual French training programs tailored to the learner’s objectives and language level. Our French courses are suitable for all nationalities and all proficiency levels, from complete beginners (A0) to advanced (C2).
Duration, prerequisites, and enrollment
Our programs have a flexible duration, ranging from 20 to 40+ hours, depending on the learner’s goals and availability.
There are no prerequisites. Before each program begins, learners complete a placement test and/or individual interview. Once enrollment is confirmed, we create a customized program based on the learner’s needs and professional sector, including:
General French: improving communication in everyday life
Oral French: for phone calls, meetings, and informal conversations
Administrative French: for housing, healthcare, banking, and other practical needs
Professional French: specific to sectors such as engineering, commerce, or healthcare

Accessibility
HAPPY IN FRANCE is committed to ensuring accessibility for all learners, including those with disabilities. Our classrooms and online platforms can be adapted, and we encourage participants to contact us prior to enrollment to discuss any specific requirements.
Evaluation and certification
Every program begins with a placement assessment to evaluate the learner’s level and needs. Continuous evaluation is conducted through oral and written exercises, role-plays, and real-life simulations. At the end of the program, participants can take the CLOE certification (RS6438), which evaluates oral and written French skills and provides a certificate indicating the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level (A1–C2). This certification, issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, offers official recognition of French proficiency to employers.
The CLOE test is mandatory with CPF funding.
Note on initial level and progression: Before the start of the training, each learner’s initial level is assessed through a written and/or oral test. Based on the results, the program is then fully customized to the learner’s needs, goals, and professional sector. Progression from one level to the next depends on the learner’s abilities and the total duration of the training, with approximately 40 hours recommended per CEFR level. For meaningful improvement, we recommend a minimum of 20 hours of training. This approach ensures that learners advance at a pace suited to their individual capabilities while achieving measurable language progress.
The CLOE French as a Foreign Language certification is officially registered in the Répertoire Spécifique under number RS6438, following the national registration decision dated 15/11/2023.
This certification evaluates both oral and written French skills and provides formal recognition of the learner’s language proficiency, which can be presented to employers or institutions.

Access and registration
Registrations are open all year round.
The time between your request and the start of the training mainly depends on the chosen funding method and any administrative procedures required (minimum 10 days). Enrollment is confirmed after an interview with HAPPY IN FRANCE and validation of the quote or CPF registration.
